A Taylored Heart Foundation's Mission is to promote a passion and respect for youth development, while focusing on one's character, promoting an "I CAN" attitude to reinforce the inner standing of fairness and equality within themselves, which includes the four dimensions of a human being: mind, body, HEART and one's spirit.

Would you like to personally sponsor an athlete who could not otherwise afford an opportunity to play for Taylored Athletes Elite. We do not promise any athlete that he/she will join the NBA but we can help at risk children find a bridge out of poverty through our athletics program. Help a child today and personally sponsor a talented at risk youth by making a tax-deductible donation to A Taylored Heart Foundation (501c3) and make all the difference in his or her life.

Pro At Your Door ™
To Fight Youth Obesity
According to the Center for Disease Control Childhood obesity has more than tripled in the past 30 years.
The percentage of children aged 6–11 years in the United States who were obese increased from 7% in 1980 to nearly 20% in 2008.
Similarly, the percentage of adolescents aged 12–19 years who were obese increased from 5% to 18%
Health Effects of Childhood Obesity
Childhood obesity has both immediate and long-term effects on health and well-being.
Immediate health effects:
Obese youth are more likely to have risk factors for cardiovascular disease, such as high cholesterol or high blood pressure. In a population-based sample of 5- to 17-year-olds, 70% of obese youth had at least one risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
Obese adolescents are more likely to have prediabetes, a condition in which blood glucose levels indicate a high risk for development of diabetes.
ATHF partners obese youth with our Pro At Your Door Accountabilty Partners to encourage better lifestyle choices to lead healthier lives.
How do we Taylor Youth?
What is to be done?
2 hours a week, youth will be accompanied by their pro to engage in 1 hour of physical fitness and an half hour of life enrichment skills conversation to help the youth adjust to the change in their physical appearance to coincide with the mental changes they’ll undergo.
Helping Parents Fight The Disease
Eating Fruits + Vegetable = A Healthier Diet
Eating Non Processed Foods = Higher Food Cost
ATHF understands that the parents of the youth we serve face extreme educational and financial deficits which prevent them from being able to afford higher food cost associated with a healthy diet.
We believe our idea is unique and innovative because no obesity programs provide parents with easy to understand work shops on how to:
Understand reading process food labels for nutritional facts and value
Partner youth 1-on-1 with a positive role model that travels to the kids home to get them up off the couch and out the door being active.
