October 11, 2010 - (Boca Raton, FL) Everyone willing to learn the fundamentals of basketball, team work, and selfless service must come out to support the Taylored Athletes Basketball Training Company and their team of Pro's, as they join the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization for the 16th Annual Down Syndrome Buddy Walk®. The event will take place in Lake Worth, FL at the John Prince Park on Sunday, October 17th, 2010 from 7am – 4pm.

Individuals with down syndrome, basketball fans, and supporters will receive top basketball skill development from world renown professional basketball trainer and motivational speaker, James Taylor, CEO of Taylored Athletes, and the pioneer of the Pro At Your Door™ Basketball Experience. “This is a monumental opportunity for our organization to help raise the awareness about Down Syndrome and help with the inclusion of people with Down Syndrome through our basketball training initiative.” said, Taylor. “We are excited to have James Taylor and the Taylored Athletes Basketball Program at this year’s Buddy Walk as part of the many fun-filled family activities we provide at the Buddy Walk.”, said Terri Harmon, Executive Director of the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization.
Registration for the 16th Annual Buddy Walk celebrating families and Down Syndrome Awareness Month is $12 per person ($20 per person after October 7th) and includes a one-mile Advocacy Walk or 5K Fitness Walk and free t-shirt, music, refreshments and family activities.
