TO IMPACT YOUTH AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
(Boca Raton, FL) -February 29th, 2012 Taylored Athletes Sports, Inc. is proud to announce, The UPS Stores of The Palm Beaches, known for offering a convenient, one-stop destination to get things done, including; shipping, custom packing and crating, mailbox service, printing, scan/email, fax and postal services, has signed on as an Partner In Excellence and sponsor of Taylored Athletes Sports. As an annual sponsor, The UPS Store will support opportunities for disadvantaged youth to receive character excursions, leadership training, and participate in the Taylored Athletes Basketball Club and Travel Team.
“The UPS Store is proud to sponsor Taylored Athletes 10th Grade Boys Travel Basketball Team. The work within the community that Taylored Athletes has directed since its inception is the reason we saw this as a positive partnership,” said Calvin H Chandler, Jr, owner of six stores in Palm Beach County.
Founded by CEO James Taylor, Taylored Athletes, Inc., was named to the Impact 100 List of Top 100 Companies run by entrepreneurs ages 30 and under. Taylor was honored in November 2011 at the White House during Global Entrepreneurship Week. Taylor’s focus has centered on teaching kid’s valuable leadership and character development skills in addition to the game of basketball.
“Typically, the kids that go through our various programs come out with a sense of self, more confidence and desire to excel and overachieve,” said Taylor. The UPS Stores of Palm Beach joins other national brands such as MedExpress and Aetna Insurance, which featured James Taylor in the Aetna 2012 African American Calendar for the month of May.
