Taylored Athletes, measured up to a changing game at the AAU Disney Classic

Boca Raton — April 10, 2012 — Taylored Athletes Elite Basketball Club did more than measure up to the competition. The 8th grade boys finished third in the Division I 8th Grade Red Bracket. The 9th grade boys sung sweet tunes of victory to make it to the sweet 16, falling just short of the Elite 8 appearance losing to the Fly Wade, a team sponsored by Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat. Last, but not least the 10th grade boy’s basketball team put the “E” in the Elite 8, losing to cross town rivals, Delray Blazers.

The AAU Easter Classic, held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex April 6-8, is one of top AAU basketball tournaments in the country. Over 2000 teams from across the country converged to Orlando, FL to compete against the top talent in their age divisions.

We're proud to continue our mission to provide student athletes with an enriched, positive, and nurturing basketball environment that encourages the pursuit of lifetime goals. The emphasis of this club is to provide opportunities that encourage a sense of commitment, teamwork, and the development of personal character through the game of basketball, while also valuing discipline and promoting integrity among its student athletes and coaching staff.

Next tournament for the Taylored Athletes will be the CSCB Explosion Hoop Tournament in Coral Springs, FL, where TAE’s 4th grade boys, 8th grade boys orange, 9th grade boys, and the 10th grade boys orange teams will be competing. The 7th grade girl’s team will also be in ‘competition mode’ at the Jupiter Jam in Jupiter, FL.
